www.BustYourPlateau.com – Shoulder Exerices The 3 Best Exercises For Your Rear Shoulders. In this video, I will share with you three very important exercises to develop your rear shoulder muscles. Often times people seem to neglect working their rear shoulders which will result in a muscular imbalance and will not fully develop the shoulder muscles. The shoulder consists of the front head, the side head and of course the rear deltoids. To ensure a full muscular shoulder development, you need to include proportional work on each part of the shoulder. Most people are weakest in their rear shoulder and therefore the weight that is used for this particular exercise should be considerably less than what you would use when working beside deltoids and the front deltoids. Here are the three exercises that will specialize on their rear deltoids development. Standing fixed arm cable pulldown: To perform this exercise properly ensure that you keep your arms fixed and focus on the contraction in your rear deltoids when pulling the cable downwards to ward your body. Bent over rear cable raises [single arm]: Using a cable from the low pulley position and with a fixed arm slowly perform are rear cable raise and focus on contracting your rear deltoids while performing this exercise. Do not use too much momentum but rather focus on using a lighter weight that allows you to really feel the muscle being worked. Bent over dumbbell swing backs: If this exercise is similar to the rear cable …

Gaining Muscle Fast: 4 Important Exercises to Build a Massive Back

Everybody wants to be gaining muscle fast but it always amazed me how misguided most people are at the gym.

Most aspiring muscle builders are way too fixated with getting a massive chest and huge arms. So what they do is they drive themselves hard every week trying to get maximum growth in these two areas with bench presses and barbell curls.

The result however, is that their dream of gaining muscle fast unfortunately never happens.

So let me tell you something that a lot of people seemed to totally miss.

While you may think that gaining muscle fast in your arms and chest to be a great deal in having that great body, they actually pale in comparison to other major muscle groups.

The back muscles such as the lats, traps, spinal erectors, rhomboids and lower back muscles are way more important for you if you want to have that sexy physique.

So why do so many people neglect these all too important back muscles?

Perhaps these factors will shed some light:
1) Back muscles are not “showy” and hence you can’t really admire them in a mirror
2) Back muscles take more effort to train than chest or arm muscles
3) Most people just don’t realize the importance of developing massive back muscles

Now I want to let you in on a little secret….

70% of your upper body muscle mass is actually in your back!

So if you want to appear thick, wide and powerful and do it in a short time, you need to be developing massive back muscles.

Nothing can compare to the upper body thickening effect that you get by gaining muscle fast in your back. The result is bulging lats and wide traps which gives that powerful look you want.

So let’s put away those bench presses and EZ bar curls for a moment and let me share with you a step-by-step workout routine that will help you in gaining muscle fast and building that massive back you need.

Massive Back Routine:
Deadlifts – 2 sets x 5-7 reps.
Overhand Chin-Ups – 2 sets x 5-7 reps.
Bent Over Barbell Rows – 2 sets x 5-7 reps.
Barbell Shrugs – 2 sets x 10-12 reps.

As always, concentrate on doing each rep properly and take every set to concentric muscular failure (meaning until you can’t do any more reps without losing the right form).

If you focus on quality rather than quantity, this routine will give you sufficient stimulation for maximum back growth (though it doesn’t seem like much do they?). You will achieve your goal of gaining muscle fast to give you a massive back and increased strength.

Now let me explain a little bit about these four major movements:
1) Deadlifts
This is the all important lift. Nothing is as effective as the basic bent-legged, barbell deadlift if your goal is gaining muscle fast.

In the deadlift, your entire back complex from your neck to your toe gets stimulated. This is the fundamental exercise in any effective bodybuilding routine. The result is an impressive, massive back.

2) Vertical pulling movement
If you want that wide, v-tapered look from behind, you need to target your lats.

Vertical pulling movements such as the chin-ups (both overhand and underhand), v-bar pull downs and lat pull downs will get you there.

Among these exercises, the most important vertical pulling movement is the basic overhand chip-up. It will stimulate your lats to the max and will result in you gaining muscle fast and a massive back.

3) Horizontal pulling movement
These are called “rows” and they put major stresses on the upper/middle parts of your back as well as your lats. You can choose many rowing movements such as dumbbell rows, cable rows, seated machine rows and bent over barbell rows, among others.

For gaining muscle fast, stick to basic free-weight rowing movements such as barbell rows (first choice) and dumbbell rows.

4) Shrugging movement
These are not as essential for gaining muscle fast but shrugging movement should be done at the end of your workout. They target the upper traps which will give you that diamond-shaped, mountainous look from behind.

Use a basic barbell or dumbbell shrug for this purpose.

So now that you have understood that gaining muscle fast requires you to develop the major muscle group such as your back muscles, you can now focus on what actually works best.

Remember to always keep a record of your workout and increase the weight or the reps as you move along.

If you do the routine once a week, you will have an upper body that is thicker, wider and a lot more muscular for that impressive massive back.

How To Build More Muscle Mass Fast – Exercises And Diet

Your body builds muscle naturally in response to your physical activity. This doesn’t happen overnight. But you’ll be well on your way to “bulking up” if you are consistent towards workouts.

First of all you have to decide on the exercises to be done each day. Some exercises focus on a specific muscle while other exercises are helpful for several muscles workout at one time. The important thing is to make sure each muscle can rest for at least a full day before exercising it again. So, you should do a full-body weight training routine, every other day (with cardio exercise in between) or you can alternate different muscle groups like arms exercise on one day, legs on another day, upper back and chest on next day and so on.

Body muscles grow during rest. If you don’t give your muscle adequate time to recover, you’ll directly interfere with the muscle building process. When you lift weight, you put stress on the muscle to an extent that it breaks down at the cellular level which results in increased protein synthesis and produces thicker muscle fibers. This process begins 2 – 3 hours after the workout and lasts up to 24 hours. If you put stress on the muscle before this process is complete then you break down the muscle fibers before they’ve had a chance to rebuild and hence it can have undesirable effects.

You should learn how to do exercise properly (the extension of movement, correct stance and proper posture, etc) as this will not only reduce the effectiveness of the movement, but also increase the risk of injury. So, try to begin the exercise with light weights. Practice will improve your form. For muscle building process, you need to stress the muscles, so till the final rep of your final set, your muscle should be exhausted. You can add one or more reps if you are in good form. If stress on muscles is less then you need to add on some weight.

For effective muscle building you need to give your body the proper building blocks. Don not eat too much of junk food. You can have supplements which can give you energy and aid in muscle recovery and repair, but, they should be taken in conjunction with a consistently followed exercise regimen and a proper diet. You should increase the amount of complex carbohydrates and proteins in your diet like egg, low fat yogurt, and whole grain carbohydrates like oats and whole-wheat bread. Try to avoid sugary and processed foods as they interfere with the glucose levels and immune system. You should drink a lot of energy drinks, water and juices during exercise to avoid water retention from the body. Protein drinks can also be taken after workouts to repair and rebuild lean muscle tissues.

For better results you should change your workout schedule every 3 – 4 weeks to avoid your body from adapting to stress. This can be done by increasing weight and changing exercises.

Workout Less and Build More Muscle Mass by Compounding Your Exercises

When it comes to increasing your overall muscle mass and tone up your body, it is important that your technique includes a lot of compound exercises, rather than exercises that restrict you and are isolated to a single joint movement. What this could mean is that many exercise machines found in many gyms may not be the best way to work out if you are just starting to develop your personal fitness plan.

Calisthenics are a common and effective way to get started. This can include a variety of exercises using your own body weight and repetitive motions that stimulate several muscle groups and include multiple joint movements. You can often find many pieces of furniture around the home can help you exercising utilising your own body weight. Just a word of warning, think it through first, to make sure things will not tip over and cause injury to the person exercising or anybody else in close proximity. Safety goes hand in hand with health. This approach encompasses a broad range of options, so you can surely find a technique that suits you and you will enjoy.

Sit ups, push ups and squats are included, they exercise multiple muscles at once. However, you do not have to limit yourself to these age old techniques if you find them boring. You can also try one of the large varieties of Dance, Pilates, Gymnastics or Martial Arts techniques, as well as a variety sports such as Squash, Tennis or Badminton.

Free weights can be very effective, more so than machines because you have to work to balance the weight yourself rather than letting a machine do the balancing for you. This technique is also less likely to cause an injury, it uses more natural movement patterns. If you prefer to do your workout in your home, free weights take a lot less space than fitness machines and there is so much you can do with just a barbell.

Use isolated exercises, like bicep curls, only in small increments at first. It is more important to increase your total muscle and strengthen you entire body before concentrating your time and effort on just one or two muscles. Remember that your muscle increases as you rest rather than during your workout, so do not forget to rest up in between.

Many fitness experts claim that following a strict diet plan can inhibit your muscle growth, so they recommend eating more often. However, there are lesser known secrets to tone and build your body quickly even if you do not want to eat as much as some trainers recommend.

Build Muscle Mass

I was talking to your median hard gainer yesterday in the gym. This guy had kept on working his butt off for months without anything and everything to show for it, I informed him he needed to tedious work his big muscles and swell muscle mass instead of focusing on the lowered muscle. He did not understand what I was talking about. So when we completed we sat downhill and spoke about how he could gain muscle mass with simple exercises he needed to can identify right about and use.

As weight lifting and workout programs have developed over the years they have become more focused on functional exercises that mimic real life activities and use a wide range of movements. These functional exercises are made up from a wide range of compound exercises. Compound exercises are exercises that use multiple joint movements that will use several muscle groups at the same time and are great if you want to gain muscle mass.

Squats are the best example of a compound exercise. When doing squats you will use your glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calves. Your lower back and core are also used in the movement, so in one motion you are working over half of your body. Build Muscle Mass

What are the benefits of compound exercises? The first is the ability to gain muscle mass quickly. These exercises use the larger muscle groups; it is these muscles that give the impression of a large muscular frame, so if you are a hard gainer or you want to bulk up quickly compound exercises are perfect for you. However gaining muscle mass is not the only benefit. By using the bigger muscles you will burn more calories during the exercise and you can work out longer with less muscle fatigue. You will improve joint stability and decrease the risk of injury. You will get a full body workout faster and you will be able to gain more strength and lift heavier loads.

Compound exercises include Dead lift Pull Ups Press Ups Dips Chest Press Shoulder Press Squats Lunges Rows As you begin to gain muscle mass you will be able to start targeting specific muscle groups with isolation exercises to quickly bulk up. So if you want to build up your biceps you will be able to target them but remember they will be working indirectly when you do compound exercises.

During the off season most athletes concentrate on compound exercises to gain muscle mass before they begin the rigours of pre season training and lose some of their lean muscle mass. Over the next few months I will be interested to see if the hard gainer has taken any of this on board. No matter what your training needs are compound exercises should be in everyone’s workout routine but if you want to gain muscle mass fast then you need to build your routine around them.

There will be times when you need to isolate certain muscle groups but compound exercises are essential. Start taking action to gain your muscles by Getting Your Build Muscle Mass eBook now!

Awesome Exercises For Building Lean Muscle Mass

There are hundreds of different exercises you can do with free weights and resistance machines or with just your body weight to build muscle mass. You should include mainly multi-joint compound exercises in your workout as they build muscle fastest. The most popular and effective of these are: dead lifts, squats, bench press, pull ups, shoulder presses and rows.

Whilst they are very effective your body needs to be constantly challenged in new and different ways if your goal is building lean muscle mass. Here are a few awesome exercises that are often overlooked yet work really well. From time to time try and include these exercises in your workouts. new reasons for your muscles to grow and the prevention of boredom setting in are achieved by adding variation to your workouts.

For skinny calve muscles have a go at skipping with a jump rope, donkey raises and running on the beach to trigger muscle growth. making use of ajump rope for skipping and also running on a sandy place bear foot will place great pressure on your calves to grow. Calf muscles tend to respond better to sets in the higher rep ranges as they are used a lot everyday for walking. donkey raises involves placing your feet on the edge of a block of wood, weights disc or step bending over at the waist to 90 degrees and resting your hands on a solid surface for support. A training partner or two then jump on to your back and you raise your body up and down by flexing your calf muscles. This exercise is more difficult than the usual machine calve exercises as you have to use stabiliser muscles to keep you steady whilst performing them.

When was the last time you did dips for your chest muscles? A great mass builder for the chest muscle is dips which are great for triceps also. For this exact exercise many older gyms have parallel bars. Different grips can be experimented with as they often form a v shape. This means that you can effectively target different areas of the chest and trciep muscles effectively.

What about doing stiff legged deadlifts to really punish your hamstrings. This exercise is really effective for the hamstrings yet used very little. The motion is the same as deadlifts but you must maintain straight legs throughout by bending at the waist, keeping a straight back and lifting the barbell upwards. Keep control of the weight by ensuring that it is close to your legs whilst raising it and be warned that this exercise can make your hamstrings very sore for the following day.

Experiment with hammer curls for bicep growth! These are the same as regular dumb bell curls only you keep the palm of your hand facing in towards the body throughout. This places great stress on the inner bicep muscle that gives it thickness and size throughout called the brachialis muscle whilst also still developing the main bicep too. Stand with your back straight and flat against the corner of a wall to prevent yourself from using moment to assist the movement for a real burn.

When was the last time you noticed anyone hitting their quads with lunges in the weights room? These are awesome for your quads providing both mass and shape. With a dumb bell in either hand take a good stride straight ahead and then bend both knees down to around 90 degress, step backwards returning to the start position and repeat on the other side. A great alternative to squats.

For developing muscle definition and for a great cardio workout how about trying boxing padwork great for the upper body or uphill sprints for your legs or hitting an exercise bike for uphill intervals after a leg workout. That is a real killer of a mass builder!

so go ahead and switch your workout around a little to include some of these great exercises for building lean muscle mass.

Best Way to Gain Muscle – Exercises and Diets to Gain Muscle

Are you getting sick and tired of the varieties of ways which people tell you to use in gaining muscles? Are you uncomfortable with the way you are when you look at yourself in the mirror? Are you bothered from the slow result you get from your gym center? Now, what if I am able to show you the 5 best easy to follow ways which you can use to gain muscle in a safe way and it is also efficient too.
What you need is to remedy the faults you are making in these vital guides in order for you to build big muscular and get a sexy figure.

Discover the best ways to gain muscle in an easy to follow technique in a few moment with no drugs or even supplements.
Devote about 3 to 4 every week to lift weight. Your goal should be to work your muscles using resistant, this will make your muscles to grow larger resisting the stress from happening another time. After lifting weights, leave the muscles to repair by taking healthy diet and taking some rest, which will make it to develop larger and redo this step again. You are meant to work your muscle once for in 3 days, do 2 upper body workouts weekly together with 2 lower body workout that same week.

Take foods rich in balanced diet 3 to 7 times daily, making sure its healthy in proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
If you are aiming to gain huge muscles, there is need for you to eat 15 to 18 times your present body weight. Carbohydrates is expected to make up to 45% of the foods you eat, while proteins and fats are meant to make up about 35% and 45% of your food intake, respectively. Foods that are solid should make up one-half of your diet while the remaining should be diets that are liquid.

Make stretching make up half of the time you exhaust lifting weights
Some people make the mistake of failing to stretch; rather they spend all their exercises period training. Stretching enables you to rejuvenate the actual length of your muscle tissue; meaning that if you are working out your muscles are supposed to get short and big, thereby making it possible to have a high frequency of injury. If you carry weights for about four hours per week, devote an extra 2 hours to do stretching. You should work against the reduction of muscle tissues that happen when one carries weights and if you don’t you are giving room to injuries to get to you.

Keep off supplements that haven’t existed for more than 3 years
I found out about this secret from a German muscle trainer, who suggested that a muscle builder should not take supplement till it has existed for more than 3 years in order for it to be ascertained from others. Following this guide will help you in determining the best, ensuring you don’t fall for marketing hypes shown on magazines and tv. To be frank with you, just a small percentage of supplements deliver what they promise. See for yourself tips to detect good supplements: those ones that have a high content of multi-vitamin, fish oil capsules, protein powder and powdered creatine. They are all adequate to give you the dietary source for good health, strength and gain you a bigger muscle mass.

No Nonsense Muscle Building is an online muscle building program run by an expert trainer which includes the diets you should take, exercises you should do, workout durations of the simple exericses you should do in order to gain muscle in a short while.

You can find more about it at http://modospot.com/review/vincedelmontefitness.html

by Josh Owen

If you’re looking for a good beginner workout schedule, you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to give you the best schedule for beginners. This weight training schedule will help you make the fastest possible progress.

You should lift weights 3 times per week. Each workout session should work the entire body. A full body workout is the best beginner workout schedule. So, your weekly weightlifting schedule will look like this:

Day 1: Weight Lifting

Day 2: Rest Day

Day 3: Lift Weights

Day 4: Rest Day

Day 5: Weight Lifting

Day 6: Rest Day

Day 7: Rest Day

The key to the weight lifting schedule above is the actual exercises you choose for each workout. You must choose compound weightlifting exercises that work every major muscle group throughout your workout.

By doing so, you give yourself 3 opportunities each week to build muscle and strength. Most of the so called experts will recommend that you work each muscle group only once per week. That’s nonsense. The human body can recover properly with 48 hours rest between workouts. Those so called experts just don’t give the human body much credit at all.

You should only be doing a few exercises each workout. But you need to be doing multiple sets of these exercises. This helps you learn how to do the exercises with proper form by giving you more practice. You must learn how to do the exercises properly in order to make the fastest progress possible.

The extra practice time that you’ll get with the beginner workout schedule will allow you to spend that extra time learning proper form. Most beginners don’t learn proper form and never get optimal results. You want optimal results, right? Let me show you how to get the best possible results.
