Just what are love handles? More importantly, just what can be done to slim them down?

Love handles are lumps of fatty tissue that seem to grow at the side of our waists. They are actually our oblique muscles.

Sometimes known as middle age spread. Maybe ’cause they seem to spread like wild fire among the middle aged generation.

Is it possible to rid them with exercise? Well yes but you have to do it right. If you were to concentrate on them only you would make little progress.

If you find an exercise for love handles and do lots of it and neglect any other parts you will get nowhere fast. It has to be an all round fitness system or nothing at all.

A good all round system will see you having to exercise for the bare minimum and not having to forego decent meals. With a system that will teach you and then put you through simple steps each day you will get the result you want without killing yourself.

I don’t know about you but I’m a lazy kinda guy. I only want to do a minimum amount of exercise to maintain my shape. This is what I do now, everyday. A bit of maintenance work.

If you know what to do and why you are doing it you make it so much easier for yourself than being in the dark, not knowing what to do and doing it wrong.

You see a burger, you want it. Knowing what it will do to you makes the decision much easier.

If you can make a knowledgeable decision on that burger you can easily decide against it. I didn’t even think yes or no; I was having it, period. Now I can easily refuse all sorts of mouth watering foods.

Having said that, there’s nothing like a decent sized burger loaded with extras. But the range of foods available to us that are as tasty and not harmful is immense. You just gotta know what they are.

An effective exercise for love handles is the side bend. Hold a broom handle above your head, lean left, lean right, rinse and repeat. Simplicity itself.

I only do a few now and then because my general system keeps me trim enough to not worry about individual areas.

I can eat generous size meals and I keep my exercise to a minimum. I use an online diet generator to create great meals targeted for me only.

No stress at all having to work out what I’m going to eat. Is it good or bad for me, is it enough or too much. Now it’s a few mouse clicks and I’m done. You should try it!
